Both studios offer classes every day of the week.  To get started just show up for an appropriate level class.  If you are new to yoga, look for classes on the schedule that say "Beginners Welcome."  When you arrive you will need to fill out a short information form.  Be prepared to pay AFTER your class.  Your teacher will be available to answer your questions about our classes and purchasing discounted class packages to continue your practice at Mama Nirvana's.

Yoga Retreat in New Mexico

Last Summer while Josh and Ruth Anne were vacationing in Taos, they stayed at the magnificent San Geronimo Lodge.  With its luxurious beds, high-ceilinged common rooms (perfect for yoga classes), ideal location and great food, naturally they took one look and said "let's do a yoga retreat here!"

Groupon Rules

If you are purchasing a groupon:

1: Only one groupon per customer per lifetime. Anyone who has ever used a groupon at Mama Nirvana's before is not eligible to do so again. If you have used a groupon with us before, sit on your hands.

2: Once you purchase the groupon, you must redeem it by the expiration date on the groupon. 

3:Once redeemed, you have 90 days to use all classes--regardless of the expiration date on the groupon

4: When redeemed, we will create a class card for you. We will keep it on file in our studio.  The class card will track your attendance and allow us to remind you of your class expiration date if necessary.

5: all classes must be taken by the same person (no sharing groupons)

6: once redeemed, classes are not extendable or refundable. A class card obtained by redeeming a groupon is NOT ELIGIBLE for our normal class card extension policy.  You must use all groupon classes in 90 days!

8: all classes must be taken at the same studio

9: Once your groupon classes are complete, you will be eligible to purchase any class card for yourself at our members' discounted rates, subject to our renewal policy.

Ultra Vinyasa is a form developed by Ruth Anne.  It is a choreographed set of yogic movement set to a variety of upbeat music.  It's rhythmic, pranic and fun. It's also aerobic and powerfully strengthening for whole body, especially the core.  Regular practice of Ultra Vinyasa will sculpt your muscles and melt away fat.  In Ultra Vinyasa, rhythmic repetition allows students to hone essential yoga skills.

Yoga experience is a must.  Advanced beginner level and up (minimum 6 months yoga experience necessary) Not suitable for beginners or students with injuries.  Must be comfortable and familiar with standing poses and sun salutes.

Ultra Vinyasa is a form developed by Ruth Anne. It draws on yoga, Indian Dance, pilates and other soucrces.  It is a choreographed set of yogic movement set to music.  It's rhythmic, pranic and fun. It's also aerobic and powerfully strengthening for whole body, especially the core.  Regular practice of Ultra Vinyasa will sculpt your muscles and melt away fat.  In Ultra Vinyasa, rhythmic repetition allows students to hone essential yoga skills.

You don't need to be interested in doing Ultra Vinyasa on a regular basis to get a real boost from this workshop.  We will be focusing on the Yoga behind the choreography.

In this workshop we will slow everything down in order to refine technique and alignment.  Students will learn and practice specific movements will lift their yoga practice to new levels of strength, grace and flexibility.  Technique and form of a variety correlated yoga poses will also demonstrated and discussed.

Yoga experience is a must, but students who haven't done ultra vinyasa before are welcome. Students need to be free of injuries, and be comfortable and familiar with sun salutes and standing poses.

“Moksha Sadhana” means “practice of liberation.” In this workshop participants will experience the power and energy of a complete, uninterrupted yoga practice. The session follows the traditional pattern of going from the more tangible (physical postures) through increasing subtle practices and realms.

 

The emphasis will be on direct experience. Talking will be kept to a minimum to allow students to experience yoga in a meditative atmosphere. Hands-on assistance will be provided for the postures portion. 

 

Advanced beginner level and up. (Six months yoga experience required. ) Not suitable for individuals with injuries requiring personal assistance or modifications.

These full-length live recordings contain complete instructions for powerful meditations, breathing and postures. 

You will find the instructions are very clear and direct.  These recordings are most useful for folks who have attended some classes in person. 

After we receive your order, we will personally email your download link.  This is a non-automated system (we do this personally), so please allow a day or two to receive your personal link from us.

Fallon Community Health Pays Plan $200-$400 for your yoga.

If you have Fallon, (most plans) they will reimburse you $200/individual, $400/family for yoga purchased in 2009.  This applies to yoga classes OR private lessons purchased in 2009. (Payments must be made to a yoga facility like ours--not to individual teachers--according to the rep I spoke with.)

You can purchase any class card we offer at our studio from our website (sorry, gift certificates don't count).  You can bring your receipt to the studio at your first class.  It's that easy!  go to our website.

If you purchased any package from us in 2009, I can help you get your money:

You will need to provide credit card statements or cancelled checks. 

You will also need a letter from us, which I am happy to provide.  I have all records of your payments and attendance dates on file.  I can help you determine how much of your benefit you have left to spend for 2009.

You need to fill out a form for reimbursement.  You can download this.

You have until March to apply for reimbursement for 2009.
